Baptizing Our Oldest Baby

On Sunday July 29th, Austin was baptized at Floris United Methodist Church.  It was something that we have been meaning to do for awhile, but hey better late then never right?!  I found the cutest baptism outfit for him and he was all dressed up in his white satin shirt, shorts, vest and bow tie.  I was a little apprehensive about how Austin would do during the ceremony since he had to be still and quiet for an entire hour.  Usually we send him to the nursery during church so it's not a big deal.  Well my little man surprised me and was awesome!  He even let the pastor carry him around the church during the sermon.  Aunt Kelly and Uncle BJ were named Austin's Godparents during the ceremony and we couldn't think of two better people for the job.  After the baptism we were lucky enough to have about 20 friends and family come back to the house for brunch to help us celebrate.  We all ate yummy food and chatted while the little kids ran around and played.   It was definitely a special day that we will never forget.
