Not the motorized kind, but we finally decided on a double stroller. After months of debating and going to stores to test them out, we decided on the City Mini Double GT. We currently have the City Mini Single stroller and we love it! I mean it rocks. One pull of the strap in the seat and the whole thing collapses and fits easily into my car. Now I will say that going from a single to a double is a big change. The double strollers all feel like Cadillacs to me. They are huge, but I guess they need to be in order to lug two kids around. The City Mini GT that we decided on is a side by side and the GT means that it has a deeper and taller seat then the regular City Mini Double. This was a must when you have a large child like Austin. I am not going to spend a fortune on this stroller and then have him out grow it in 6 months. Each seat holds 50 lbs so hopefully we can get some good use out of this thing. I will say that Austin is starting to walk more these days, but there are definitely places like the mall where I need to keep him contained so I am not chasing him all of the store. Supposedly this stroller fits easily through most doorways, although as with any double stroller I am sure clothes aisles may be a bit of a challenge. After a little bargain hunting Jeff found a good deal on a brand new City Mini Double GT on eBay and it should be arriving at our house shortly. I can't wait to try it out. If it doesn't live up to the hype we can always resell it! Double strollers seems to be quite the hot item on craigslist and eBay these days.
