Branching Out

One thing I have learned since becoming a SAHM is that you have to branch out and meet people or you will go loony sitting at home all day. I consider myself to be semi out going, but lately if I meet a cool mom and baby I don't hesitate to ask for her number and set up a playdate. It's so funny because sometimes I feel like a guy asking a girl on a date and hoping that she doesn't reject me. Today one of our new mommy friends asked Austin and I to the park with some of her friends. It's such a beautiful day outside so we jumped on the chance. Austin loves to swing with mommy and watch the other kids. I tried to let him swing alone, but he seemed to lean forward a lot so I think we will try that one again in a few weeks. It was just so nice to get out with adults and kids and enjoy the weather.
