This Cold Weather is for the Birds

So we are heading to the Bahamas! My stud of a husband won his sales contest for the 4th year in a row so we are heading to the Atlantis tomorrow with his company. I am so ready to get a break from this cold weather and just relax by the pool with a fruity drink in my hand. There is just one problem...I have to leave my son behind ahhhhhh! I have left Austin for 1 night before, but never 4 nights! I think I will be fine the first night or two, but I guarantee there will be a breakdown at least once during the trip. I told Jeff that a few spa visits may cure me ;) I know Austin will be fine with my mom and Mark, and they are going to send me updates each day. I will come back a rejuvenated mama who is ready to play with her son.

On another note, Austin turned Jeff into a real dad the other night. Shortly after the picture above we went to give Austin his bath. Since Austin still had a little cold I decided to take his temperature in his bum. Sometimes when you stick the thermometer in a baby's bum things tend to come out. Yes poop. We were cracking up and thankful that he was still on his changing table when it happened. So I cleaned him and Jeff picked him up to take him to the bath...naked. As soon as Jeff got in the bathroom he was telling me that I didn't clean Austin good enough and now he had poop on his hand. I started cracking up when I noticed he was still going to the bathroom and now it was on Jeff. Bahahaha! Jeff was running around yelling "what do I do? OMG we were cracking up for a good hour afterwards.
