(I am sorry but this was too funny. This is what happens when he sits in a rocking chair. Next time I will put the lock on. Poor guy)
Austin's "4th trimester" is over and he is 3 months old! So much has changed since September 3rd. He learns new tricks everyday and we just watch in amazement. Just this week he learned how to reach out and grab Sophie the giraffe and put her in his mouth. Sometimes he misses and hits his nose instead, but most of the time he can do it. He loves sucking on anything and everything. Droolfest 2010 over here. Also he is getting better at tummy time. He doesn't last too long before I find him head down and sucking on his hand, but hey we are making progress. At least he isn't screaming the whole time like he was a few weeks ago. Next time around I will start the tummy time sooner. As far as I can tell he will not be rolling anytime soon, and I am ok with that. I think it's hard for him, because he is so big. Maybe one day he will surprise me. He is getting so vocal now and loves to imitate sounds that Jeff and I make. He loves to gurgle and make bubbles as well. Everyday I love my happy baby so much more. Austin loves mommy and daddy too. He follows us around the room with his eyes and gives us big smiles that melt your heart. Here is a little bit more about my 3 month old...
- 17lbs and 26.5 inches long (wow 3 month growth spurt)
- eating about 35-38 ounces a day. 5-6 oz bottles
- 9 month clothes (12 months in Carters and 6-12 in Gap)
- Loves his playmat
- 3 naps a day (at least one long one)
- 7:00pm bed time. Waking up between 6:00-8:00am
- 1-2 times awake during the night
- Not really noticing Moxie yet
- He can hold his head up when you carry him around. Sometimes it is wobbly.
Happy 3 months Austin! Love all the smiles in the video!
ReplyDeleteHappy 3 months, bud!
ReplyDeleteThe video is adorable! I was totally laughing at the last "face plant" pic! LOVE HIM!!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm ok. First off, the picture of him keeled over made me laugh out loud. Amazing. Secondly, the video is adorable...Carly has the same outfit! Thirdly, Carly is a big baby too! We have our four month appt next week but she is weighing in at more than 16 lbs according to our very official calculations on our measly scale. I think she is pretty tall...we'll find out I guess if she is still in the 99th percentile for height. Obviously she got that from me!
