My little man slept through the night for the first time last night! We are so proud of him! Ever since Austin first came home from the hospital we have been swaddling him when he goes to sleep. Well a few nights ago he decided that he was over the swaddle sleepsack and continuously found a way to break out. After the third time I was over it and decided to let him sleep unswaddled. He woke up crying a few times, but that was to be expected. Well I guess that was the key to getting him to sleep through the night, because last night he did it! Now I am being realistic and I know there will still be nights when we have to wake up with him, but it's a step in the right direction. We can only hope this will translate into longer naps, but hey I won't be greedy ;)

ReplyDeleteHallelujah! Bring on the Christmas Miracles:-) I am so proud of him. Connor would like to think he can take the credit because he showed Austin what to do Friday night, but I am going to go with the deswaddle for the win!
