The picture above will always be engrained in my memory. Their first joint birthday party. I have been thinking about this party since Landon was born. I knew I wanted to have a joint party since they both share September birthdays. Selfishly it was easier for me to plan, but it was also special for them. We decided to do a Madagascar party since it is one of Austin's favorite movies and Landon doesn't really have many opinions yet. We kept the party pretty simple. It was a beautiful September day so luckily all of the wild kids ran around outside and played on the swing set and in the bounce house. My boys were a sweaty mess the entire time! We did take one break for cake. The boys sat next to each other and everyone sang happy birthday. It was Landon's first time having cake and he literally took the cupcake in one hand and ate the whole thing in 3 bites. It's safe to say that he LOVED it! Austin would eat cake every day of his life if he could so he was one happy boy. The boys got a ton of great presents and we spent the next morning opening them all. We are very blessed to have great friends and family to help us celebrate the birth of our sweet boys.
*Landon had a black eye for his first birthday party. He fell while playing on the patio a few days before the party. My tough little baby.
