Snow Day!

Last night we got one heck of a storm! The forecasters started out by saying we would get 1-3 inches, but as the day progressed so did the projected storm totals. Unfortunately the storm started right at rush hour and it was snowing something fierce. 1-2 inches an hour. What did this mean for my husband...a 4 and a half hour commute!!! Normally his commute is 20 minutes, but with everyone getting stuck and no plows getting through things got interesting. I was particularly worried because his car is rear wheel drive, but his new snow tires worked like a charm. He was so happy with them that he wrote a review online bragging about how they did better them some SUVs that he passed on the road. Ha! Most of you know that Jeff is a car fanatic so this probably isn't a surprise. When we woke up this morning it was time to get out and enjoy the snow. Austin doesn't have snow boots so we couldn't let him play with the snow too much, but I think he enjoyed looking at it. It's so pretty when you don't have to go anywhere.
