A Year Later...

Tomorrow will be 1 year since I married my best friend. I know that sounds kind of corny, but it's true. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better partner in life. It's amazing how fast this year has gone by and everything that has happened. Since last May I got married, started a new job, bought a house, and got pregnant with little Austin. Wow what a whirlwind! For me the first year of marriage was about dealing with change and learning to compromise with my new husband. It wasn't all about me anymore ;) It was tough at times, but I fell more in love with Jeff through the process. I admire and respect everything that he does to provide for this family and I look forward to making our team even stronger as we bring our first child into this world. Our wedding a year ago was the most amazing experience, but I think that things are only going to get better. I look forward to many more anniversaries with my love.

Now on to the celebration! Tomorrow morning Jeff and I leave for a long weekend in Florida to celebrate our first year as a married couple. We found an awesome deal on flights to Orlando so we decided, why not get away? We have heard great things about the JW Marriott in Orlando so we are excited to try it out. They have a lazy river, swim up bars, a spa, golf course, restaurants, and we rented a convertible so we can explore around town. Jeff is really loving the fact that he has a permanent DD for 9 months. It will be nice to take some time out of our hectic schedules and just celebrate us!
