Letters to Ervy

Good Morning Sunshine-

This will be the first of my many letters to you as you grow from a tiny poppy seed to a watermelon. Thank you for defying the odds and surprising daddy and I this past December. It was the best surprise of our lives. Even though you are only the size of a onion, the amount of joy you have already brought to our lives is immeasurable. Still there are days when I feel totally overwhelmed thinking about how I will possibly have time to collect all of the knowledge that I need to take care of you, but luckily daddy is pretty good at keeping me calm. Please be patient with me as I learn to be the best mom for you. Thank you for all of the kicking and moving you have been doing this week. I guess I must be doing a pretty good job so far! Daddy tried to feel you move this morning, but as soon as he put his hand down you stopped kicking. I bet you thought you were real funny ;) Maybe you can show him your skills soon. We are off to the beach today to enjoy this gorgeous 80 degree spring weather. Get ready for many beach trips in your future and who knows maybe you will be a little swimmer like me. I plan on introducing you to one of my favorite places at the beach called Candy Kitchen, and if you are a good little baby I will give you lots of salt water taffy.
