Disney Part 2

The next day we were off to try a new park, Animal Kingdom.  We boarded the bus early since we had a character breakfast at Tusker House in the Africa section of the park.  The breakfast came highly recommended so we were excited to try it out.  We all ended up having a blast with Mickey, Goofy, Daisy and Donald, plus the food was awesome.  Austin was especially excited because he got autographs from all of the characters.  It so nice to have them come to your table instead of waiting in long lines to see them.  Definitely one of the pluses of getting the dining plan and making reservations far in advance.  I think the boys favorite for this meal was Daisy.  My favorite was the crispy creme donuts in the buffet line :)

After breakfast we headed over to the Kilimanjaro Safari ride which actually really made you feel like you were on an African safari.  They had the best animals and the kids loved trying to find them on our bumpy ride.  They both loved the lions, giraffes, and the hippos.

After Africa we took off to the Dinosaur Land which was a big hit.  Austin opted nor to go on the scary dinosaur ride so Jeff and I went on with Pa.  Its a good thing Austin didn't go because it was rough and scary!  I love all rides though so I enjoyed it.  We did find a bunch of stuff that the kids could go on including flying triceratops and a big play area filled with dinosaur bones and slides.

After rest time it was time to head back to the parks again.  We headed back to Magic Kingdom in our costumes for Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween.  This required an extra ticket besides the park ticket so it cut down on some of the crowds.  We spent the first part of the night running from ride to ride and collecting a bunch of candy in between.  Then we found a place to sit and watch Mickey's Boo To You  Parade.  It was so cool and the kids could not have been happier.  Here is a little video of us dancing in the streets while we waited for the parade.
