What We've Been Up To

The warm weather has finally arrived and we have been enjoying it.  Now that Landon is on the move, I try to get outside as much as possible.  We play on The Shinaberry's swing set, or go to the farm, or the neighborhood beach, or just play in the yard.  Anything to get a little sunshine and it helps to use up my wild boys energy.  

Austin will start his new preschool with his cousin Jackson and his buddy Cole in a few weeks.  We had to get all of his forms filled out so they required him to get a physical.  Austin passed with flying colors.  Austin was in a very talkative mood that day and was chatting to the doctor the whole time.  She commented that he is quite verbal.  She also commented that Austin is a gentle giant.  He is a big guy weighing in at 36.5 lbs and 38.75 inches (90-95%).  She noticed that the whole time he was there he was playing with a baby doll he found in the waiting room.  He fed it, held it, and covered it with a blanket.  The doctor said my gentle giant is quite nurturing.  This kids LOVES babies.  Real or baby dolls.  

Poor little Landon is working on his two top teeth as well as a double ear infection.  He is not his usual happy self, but he is trying his best.  Luckily with a few good meds, he is on the mend.

This past Memorial Day weekend we enjoyed a party every night.  Between cookouts and crab feasts we had an awesome time.  I also think Austin found his first girlfriend.  Sweet Caroline Geary.

Look who is riding like a big boy in the shopping cart now!  Luckily his brother likes to ride next to him or in the special car on the front of the cart.
