Since I basically use this blog as my kid's baby book I figure I should start documenting Landon's milestones. This week Landon had his 2 week check up and he was a rockstar. My perseverance has paid off with breastfeeding and I seem to be on the mend. Mommy's milk made the little guy gain back all of the weight he lost plus a pound. Lets hope things continue to get easier on the feeding front. Let me tell you it's really a full time job. The doctor said Landon looks great and his jaundice is gone. Our homework is to start tummy time with the little guy. He actually has pretty strong neck muscles for a newborn and loves to look around while laying on my chest. Landon is still a sleepy newborn and I will take it. He usually wakes up every two hours to eat although we have gotten a few three hour stretches. We are hoping for a few more. He is only up for about 30-60 minutes at a time during the day and he loves to just look around. I guess we will need to break out the play mat soon. The doctor did comment that we need to stop letting him sleep in the bouncy seat at night and transition to the pack in play. Apparently he likes the incline of the seat and mommy and daddy need sleep. Work in progress. If that is our biggest issue I will take it. Landon is such a sweet and easy going baby. Thank the Lord. Please let it continue for mommy's sanity ;)
