The Best Year of My Life Thus Far

Dear Austin,

This past year will go down as the best year of my life thus far because you entered the world.  The way you, me, and your dad evolved is truly amazing.  A year ago I gave birth to this little blob that loved to eat and cuddle and now, well you still like to eat, but you have such a personality and you are always on the go!  I try to steal cuddles as you crawl past, but they are much less frequent these days.  As for your dad and I, our hearts have grown ten fold.  You are so full of life and you inspire us to be better people everyday.  Even on the hard days I try and remind myself to keep it together for you.  This past month you have started giving the best hugs!  They usually happen right before you go to bed and you squeeze our necks so tight.  You continue to be such a lover with the brightest little personality.  You are so full of life and so curious to see what the world has to offer.  It has been so cool to see you examine things lately and try to figure out how they work, especially electronics like mommy's cell phone, itouch, and any remote control.  We joke that you may be an IT sales guy like daddy one day.  Of course daddy says you will own the company.  Yep we have high hopes for you, but really we just want you to do what makes you happy.  It's exciting to think about all of the adventures that lie ahead in your life, but for now I just want to live in the moment.  I thank God for making your daddy and I your parents.  We are truly blessed to do life with you.

Crawling, Pulling up, and Cruising everywhere. You are so fast.
You can push your bikes and walking toys all around.

You are a squealer. You are quite loud when you get excited.
"Where is your tongue?" You love to stick out your tongue.
You love to crawl with your cars and trucks along the floor.
Love books. Favorites are Spot Loves Daddy and Brown Bear.
You don't really like very many tv shows, but you will watch Elmo for 5 minutes.

You LOVE food. Honestly everything. Please don't let this change. Mama is not an elaborate cook ;)
4 sippy cups a day. 16-20oz Transitioning to whole milk. 3 meals. 2 snacks.
