Austin's First Easter

Austin celebrated his first Easter this past weekend. Saturday we headed over to Gammy and Grandpa's house for lunch with the family.  It was a gorgeous day and it was great to spend time with Kelly who is about to give birth any day now.  I get so excited just thinking about that little bundle!  Austin received his first Easter basket.  Gammy did a great job picking out an Elmo basket fully of goodies.  No candy for me to steal yet, but I look forward to that in the future.   

Sunday Jeff, Austin and I went to try out a new church for Easter service.  We went to Floris United Methodist which is right down the street from our house.  We loved it!  We tried to have Austin sit with us during the service, but he was a busy body so we ended up taking him to the infant nursery.   Jeff looked more nervous to drop him off then I was ha.  Each parent takes a pager that matches up to your child's number so I knew if there was a problem they would just page us.  Jeff and I got to enjoy the service and have a little time to ourselves which was nice.  When we came back to get him he was playing in a toy car and was happy as can be.   Hopefully we can make this a weekly ritual. 

After church it was time to start packing up the house.  In between packing we were able to enjoy some of the nice weather.  So glad spring is finally here!
