7 Months

My big boy turned 7 months on Sunday! I was talking to a friend yesterday about how it seems like he has just always been here. People are right when they say it's hard to remember life before kids. After 7 months I feel like I really know my baby. I know that when he rubs his eyes he is tired, the difference between his hungry wine and overtired cry, how much food to give him, and how to make him smile. He is one of the happiest little guys I know. I feel beyond lucky that I get to spend every day with him, because his happy attitude rubs off on me. Don't get me wrong there are frustrating moments as well, but those seem to be few and far between at the moment. Here is what Austin has been up to lately:

Incredibly social. Loves to be around other kids

Hokie Pokie Elmo (or anything Elmo) is his favorite.

Great Sitter. Rocks when sitting when he gets excited.

Rocking on his hands and knees. Crawling backwards.

Pulling up when we hold our hands out.

On the playground he likes to swing and play in the sand box.

He has a lot to say. Babbling of course. Hence why his mouth is open in every picture.

4oz-6 oz bottles.

2-3 meals a day. New foods are chicken, spinach, green beans, peaches, apricots, carrots, avocado, blueberry.

2-3 naps. 1hr-2.5 hrs each. Bedtime at 7pm. 11-12 hours at night.

Poor little guy has had a cold for 2 weeks. We went back to the doctor yesterday and hopefully the nebulizer will help him breathe better. While at the doctor we got a weight and height measurement. 23 lbs and 29.5 inches. I guess he had a 6 month growth spurt!
