Oh little Maxima

I still remember a cold night in Febraury 2006 when Jeff pulled up my house in Clarendon to take me out on our first date. I had no idea what kind of car he drove so I had been looking out the window for a good 20 mins just waiting for a car to pull up and stop in front of the house. There she was...little silver Maxima. We have had some great times in that car, but now she has 160,000 miles and it's time to find her a new owner that won't run her into the ground now that she is older. Many of you know that my husband is a car fanatic so I couldn't help but laugh when I got this email about his car the other day...

I've spent many a days riding her hard, driving her to satisfaction, making her squeal and rubbing her leather with my bum. She's been good to me, always been reliable, never gave me too many problems and let's me check her oil every once in a while. It will be a sad day to sell her off, but someone out there, someone will ride her into the sunset like the queen she is! I've got about a month left before she gets put up for sale on the corner like an old maid. Don't worry sweetheart, I won't sell you cheap, your worth every penny!

It was kind of like one of those raunchy romance novels, but hilarious. Now the search is on for a new car. Since I am frugal fannie and Jeff is the total opposite, this should be interesting. Lets hope to find a happy medium ;)
