They accepted!

Last week we went out to search for houses for the first time. It turns out we fell in love with the second house we saw. I have done a lot of research online and I know a good house in Reston/Herndon when I see one. We thought about it over the weekend an decided to put an offer on the house on Sunday. Our agent told us that the houses in that neighborhood were going fast so we needed to keep that in mind. He was not kidding! Well we were blessed and they ratified the contract yesterday so now we are on our way to owning a home! We still have to work out a few dates, but at least we have signed paperwork. Next week we have the inspection and appraisal so we are praying that goes well. May has definitely been a month of change for me. New marriage, new house, and new job (with a lot of traveling). I don't usually do well with change, but luckily this is all fun stuff. I am excited to take on the challenge and start a new chapter.

Here are a few pictures of the house from the website. It has everything we were looking for: 3 bedrooms, over 2000sf, a garage, lots of upgrades, and a nice neighborhood. First thing on the list of things to do is to re-paint the kitchen, because I am not feeling that blue haha. We can't wait to have you all over this fall!
