The big guy turns 6!

My big boy turned 6 and he all of the sudden seems like such a big boy.  I think it's probably more about his starting full day kindergarten more than turning 6, but he just seems so grown up.  It's really crazy how much he has learned in just a few weeks of school.  He is already learning sight words and even reading and writing small sentences.  This kid is so smart and so likable.  We really are so blessed to have him.   We miss him like crazy when he is away at school all day so we try to soak him up as much as possible while he is home.  Austin's favorite things to do are play Nerf guns outside, soccer, board games, baking, riding his bike (without training wheels) and swimming.  Austin's family and friends mean everything to him.  Landon and Elle adore Austin and he is so good to them.  Of course he can give Landon a hard time because he is the little brother, but the second he is out of sight he is wondering where Lando is.  Every night they hug before bed and it turns into a wrestling match, because that is what brothers do.  I have learned that boys are wild and hyper and rough and that is just what makes them tick.  Now that Elle is getting bigger and interacts more she loves when Austin gets on the floor and chases her around.  He tells her she is the prettiest girl in the world and she just eats it up.  That's my boy, sweet as pie.  Happy Birthday Big Guy!   We love you so much.
