4 - "Because 3 is so boring"

t's a good thing Landon turned 4 on September 21st, because as he says "3 is so boring".  That's my Landon, he just always wants to catch up to his big brother.   Sorry buddy that isn't going to happen age wise, but you might be bigger than him one day.  Austin is Lando's best friend in the whole world.  They love and fight like brother's do, but at the end of the day he can't be without him.  Landon at 4 years old is one of the funniest kids anyone knows.  He is quirky, funny, and feisty and seriously everyone falls in love with that kid.  He is truly one of a kind.   We try to tame his feisty side, especially in soccer where he say "he is going to poke someone's eye out if they steal the ball from him".  But then part of me doesn't want to tame the wild out him.   It's a tough balance as a parent I guess.  I call Landon my little "love" and he loves his nickname, but he isn't so little anymore.  He is solid as a rock and still wants to be carried everywhere.  I try to soak it up because I know soon enough I won't be able to carry him around.  Luckily we can always cuddle which is one of Landon's favorite things to do.  My little guy has really adapted to becoming a big brother to Elle this year and is so helpful.  They have started playing together lately now that she can interact more.  So cute to see that new dynamic.  

What Landon is up to these days:

• Preschool 3 mornings a week.  He likes school a lot and his two friends there are Alex and Watson.  His teachers are Ms Salton and Ms Duncan.
• He has such a sweet tooth!  Candy, donuts, cookies and milkshakes.  He also likes mac and cheese, Chick Fil A, and most fruit.  He is a pretty good eater and he will eat pretty much anything that I give him, even the healthy stuff.
• Landon loves to play games including BBQ Party, Monopoly jr. (he always wins), Hide and Seek.  He also plays Nerf gun battles outside with the neighborhood kids.  
• His favorite books are the Fly Guy Series and any scary Halloween books.  Loves watching You Tube toy reviews on EvanTubeHD.  
• He knows all of his letters and is starting to write a few of them.  He can count to 30.  Landon is one smart cookie and loves to listen to Austin do his homework each day.  
• Size 4T/5T.  Size 11 shoe.
