Disney World Round 2

We pulled off the greatest surprise!   For 9 months we kept the secret about going to Disney World with Gaga and the Housers for Jackson's 5th birthday and on May 17th it was finally time for the big reveal.  We woke the kids up early and told them the good news and they were excited!  Austin and Landon were finally going to meet the real Star Wars characters and Elle would just be along for the ride.  Yes we brought a 6 month old to Disney World and she was fantastic and I think she actually enjoyed herself.

This time we stayed at the Art of Animation again but instead of the Cars suites we stayed in The Lion King suites.  All of the kids love that movie so it was a win-win.  Since it was Jackson's birthday we celebrated at Dinner with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's restaurant.   The kids loved the characters, and the food is actually really good.  Elle's face when she met Donald Duck was priceless.  She didn't know what to think of these big stuffed animals.  The next day we hit up Magic Kingdom first and started the day with breakfast at Cinderella's castle, which was a first for everyone.  Everly was so excited and the boys just loved being in a real castle.   After that it was all rides for the rest of the day.  Landon is our little roller coaster man, although he says his favorite ride was the big haunted house.  Austin's favorite ride was Peter Pan's Flight.
The next day we were on to Animal Kingdom, where we started with breakfast at Tusker House with the Disney crew.  I think the highlights of this park were the Lion King Show and also the Safari Ride with all of the cool animals.  Later that afternoon after a little rest we headed back to Magin Kingdom for more fun and rides.
The last day we were off to Hollywood Studios which had all of the Star Wars stuff.  The boys couldn't have been more excited.  The dad's got there right when the park opened to sign up Austin and Jackson for Jedi Training.  Austin saw this on his iPad and was very excited to have a light saber battle with the real Darth Vader and Kylo Ren.  When it was time for the big event Austin ended up getting scared and backed out, but Jackson completed the duel.   Later that day Austin decided that he was ready and stepped up to defeat the evil empire!  Besides Jedi Training we also went on Star Wars Rides and met many of the characters.  It was truly a dream come true for these kids.  Walking 8-10 miles with five kids 5 and under in 100 degrees was so worth it and actually fun.  We love Disney and can't wait to take everyone back when Elle is a little bit older.
