The Holiday Season 2015

The holidays came and went very fast this year as we became accustomed to being a family of 5!  Kelly and Mike hosted Thanksgiving at their house which was perfect because it was close and easy.  It was so fun to be able to introduce Elle to everyone and let the boys run around like crazy playing with all of the toys.  Elle was in her fussy stage still, but she behaved for us on Thanksgiving and slept like an angel.  I was lucky to have a lot of helpers around to hold the baby so I could take a break and actually eat a yummy dinner.  After dinner everyone sang Jeff Happy Birthday with his favorite pumpkin pie and had a little dance party at the end of the night.  Lots of be thankful for this year.

Soon after Thanksgiving we were ready to get our tree and start decorating!  We went to a new tree farm out in Howard County this year and it turned out to be great.  Jeff really likes to cut the trees down so after a lot of searching (and a few meltdowns from a few small children) we found our tree!  I have to admit that overall tree hunting is a fun memory for the kids.  After we refueled with hot chocolate and a snack, we were excited to see that Santa was there and the kids told him everything they wanted.  No tears yay!  They are so pumped for Christmas this year.  Gaga bought them a lego star wars advent calendar so they can count down the days.  Over the next few weeks we had a lot of fun activities leading up to the big day.  We made gingerbread houses with friends at Chartwell, made Christmas cookies and hosted my annual Cookie Exchange Party, went to see Lights on the Bay, and the kids had a Christmas concert at school.

Landon was really into the song during the concert ;)
