Fall Fun with My Boys

We have been quite busy with all the fall traditions and activities lately.  This large belly isn't slowing me down, ok well maybe a little bit.  We started off with our annual apple picking at Lariland Farm.  The boys love to help and eat some along the way.  Apples are one of their favorite fruits so they ate most of them whole and I made yummy homemade applesauce with the rest.  It's a lot of work, but so much better then the store bought stuff.  My nana got me hooked on it a few years ago and it's definitely a yearly favorite.

Next up was scarecrow making and pumpkin picking.  Jeff lets the boys use his yard work clothes and they stuff it with hay with a pumpkin for the head.  The had fun and all of the neighbor kids seem to really like our guy.

For pumpkin picking we headed over to Papa John's farm and got a few big pumpkins and a few small ones.  It will be another week or two before we can carve them but Austin already has his design in mind.  Love this time of year.  Let the holidays begin!
I swear they were actually excited.
