My Valentines

The boys and I felt very loved this year on Valentines Day, because Daddy decided to take the day off of work and hang out with us.  Austin started the morning off at preschool where he had a Valentines day party filled with cupcakes, brownies, candy, and dancing as Austin put it.  Sounds like an awesome party for a two year old.  After naptime we decided to get out and enjoy the nice weather at our little beach.  Hopefully in the next month or two the weather will be consistently warm and we can get outside more often.  I think we are all tired of being cooped up in the house.  After our walk we had a babysitter come over and Jeff and I got to have a nice date at the Severn Inn.  My sister Kelly has been talking about the Severn Inn for years so we had to take a chance to try it out.  The restaurant is about 15 minutes from our house and is right on the water near the Naval Academy.  The seafood, drinks, and atmosphere were awesome.   It's not always the easiest to get out of the house with two little ones, but adult time is always awesome once we get out the door.  My 3 boys made me feel like a special girl this Valentines Day.  Sometimes it pays to be the lady of the house.
