Our little sunshine is 4 months old! Landon is the happiest little guy. Always smiling, laughing, and talking to everyone. His happiness is contagious and makes others smile as well. He has begun to notice his big brother and follows him with his eyes all around the house, laughing at his antics. As soon as I tell Austin that Landon is up from his nap he runs to Landon's room, busts open the door, pulls his stool over to the crib and climbs in to lay next to him. Speaking of sleeping it has been getting better. Landon goes to bed around 6:30-7 and is up from the day between 6-7:30. He usually wakes up once or twice during the night. We have tried to keep him up later, but they little guy can't hang. Austin was the same way. We have a nice little routine where I feed him (boob or bottle) and then we rock and then he tries to put himself to sleep in his crib. Sometimes it works and sometimes I need to help him. Of course I don't mind the snuggles one bit! Austin is usually roaming the house on his own while I am putting Landon to bed, so unfortunately I don't have all the time in the world for a long routine unless Jeff is home. Being the second kid, Landon has been great at being flexible with his schedule. Let's hope this continues. Play time has become more exciting for Landon because he can now rotate between his play mat, the bumbo seat, and his jumparoo. He has a short attention span like his brother so its about 5-10 minutes on each thing. He will sit in the swing for awhile when he is starting to get tired. Landon rolled over from belly to back for the first time on his 4 month birthday. He did it a few times and now he hasn't done it in about a week. I guess he was like been there done that ha. I am still breastfeeding Landon about 50% of the time and the rest of the time he gets formula. It's just easier on me to give him a bottle when we are out and I am alone. It's tough to chase a toddler who likes to play hide and seek when you are nursing at the mall. This is actually longer then I made it with Austin so I am pretty proud of myself. Who knows how long it will last, but we enjoy it for now. Landon had his 4 month appointment at the new doctor's office yesterday and it went well. The doctor walked in and said "Wow, he can't be only 4 months!". Yes my boy is large just like his brother was as a baby. The funny thing is they have the exact same stats at 4 months, except for the head size because Landon takes after mommy in that department. Don't worry buddy you will grow into that large noggin. The doctor said he is right on track with all of his physical and mental milestones so that was great news. I am really enjoying this stage of "Baby Andon". I love all of the interaction between us and the fact that we are starting to get a routine. He truly is a wonderful addition to our family and we love him so much.

3 naps a day. Can't stay awake more then 2 hours at a time.
*Update- The sleep regression hit around 4.5 months (19 weeks). It was just as BRUTAL as I remember with Austin. For about a week we were up 4 times a night and naps were short. That equals one very tired and irritable mommy. Thank God I can see a light at the end of tunnel and we are back to waking up once a night. Please let this continue for a little while.
