Pinterest Made Me Do It

I look at Pinterest and it makes me think that I too can be a crafty girl. I am not the artsy one of the family, Kelly definitely got all of those genes, but after months of unsuccessfully searching for artwork with just the right colors and size I decided to try my hand at something. I found a DIY chevron print that looked easy enough to tackle. The site provided me with a stencil to print out and I went to Michaels to get card stock to match my new pillows. The pillows already had the green from my walls so the pictures needed to pick up the coral and dark brown. I started tracing the stencil and cut each one out. Afterwards I glued the strips on the paper and put the final product in the frames. This whole project probably took me a week because I had limited time, but I am sure it could be done in a couple of hours. Anyways I think it turned out great and it adds some color to the room until I find artwork that I love. Operation finally decorate my house is underway!
