Daddy Daycare
This post is an ode to my husband who has really stepped up these past 6 weeks as I have been training for my new part time job. Pharmaceutical sales is hard in the beginning, because there is so much training and traveling. One week I am home studying and the next week I am in Chicago training and taking tests. During the several weeks I have been gone Jeff has been the sole parent for Austin. While we have our nanny during the day, Jeff has been getting home early from work, prepping meals, having daddy and Austin play time, doing the bedtime and bath time routine, and getting up early to get himself and Austin ready in the morning. With two people this isn't bad, but it can be tiring for one person after a few days and weeks. Jeff never complains and always looks forward to the time with Austin. While there have been times I have doubted my decision to go back to work because of the time I am spending away from Austin, I do feel good knowing that he is bonding with his dad. Thank you Jeff for being the best dad and husband we could ask for. I look forward to getting home tomorrow and finally starting my normal part time work routine next week. I am sure there will be an adjustment period as there is with any change, but I am glad I have a solid partner to help me out.
