10 Months

Dear baby Austin,

Double Digits.  Yep we are here.  10 whole months of my sweet little baby Austin.  You are changing more and more by the day.  It's amazing how you pick things up so quickly.  You are babbling up a storm and you respond in your own language when we ask you a question.  Daddy and I love having a conversation with you.  You are so curious and you want to investigate and taste everything.  This has lead to the mean "No" word that you hate so much.  Usually you just laugh at us when we tell you no or just continue what you are doing until we remove you from the situation.  We will have to work on that, because it's very clear that you understand what we are saying.  We will try not to be too hard on you ;)  Last week you were barely pushing your music table around and just today you were acting like you were a pro with your walking toy.  I am sure it must be so fun to have another way to get around the house besides crawling.  Speaking of crawling you are lightening fast!  When you want something you get to it quickly.  Watch out Moxie!  Your new thing is opening all of mommy's drawers and cabinets and taking everything out.  You are so proud of yourself when you see all of your things on the floor.  You are loving your new playroom in the basement.  Your favorite toys to play with are your cars and your music set.  You are a pro at driving the cars around the floor.  As far as eating goes you are still a champ and you will eat pretty much anything we give you.  Let's hope this continues.  You still have trouble holding the bottle yourself unless you are laying down on your back.  I am sure with time this will get easier.  Soon will start the transition to a sippy cup for all of your drinks.  You are such a lover.  You love everyone, even the strangers in Lowes and the grocery stores.  You smile and wave to the cashiers and sometimes they will play peak a boo with you, which is your favorite game.  Your daddy and I couldn't ask for a better little boy.  You are more then we ever imagined.  Here's to a great 10 months!  Happy Birthday Bud!
