A Messy Situation

Yes it happens to all parents and it wasn't our first incident, but this one was a doosy.  Yesterday Austin and I went to Babies R Us to get my sister in law Kristen a shower gift.  No biggie just a quick trip to the store.  What I didn't realize until I got to the store was that I had left my diaper bag in my mom's car.  Normally no big deal, except for the fact that Austin is teething and is having severe dirrhea.  Oh yes he did.  All over his outfit and me and guess who didn't have diapers or a spare outfit.  Me!  I win!  Luckily I was able to buy diapers and wipes and clean him up.  Unfortunately the outfit was too bad to wear home so my little guy had to ride around the store naked in his diaper while mommy shopped.  I would have bought him an outfit, but they were all too big or too small so I said the heck with it.  You should have seen the stares we got from other parents.  They probably thought I was some little hippy mom or over dramatic about the 90 degree weather.  I kind of chuckled.  Oh memories.
