This weekend was full of celebration. We put in an offer on a house on Friday and on Saturday we had a ratified contract! Our new house is in Franklin Farm which is a great kid friendly neighborhood in Oak Hill/Herndon. We have been stalking this neighborhood for awhile and we finally found the perfect house. We spoke with the owners on Sunday and they said there are 23 kids and a lot of young couples just on our street. There is also a great neighborhood pool with a swim team for the kids. Yes I plan on putting Austin in a little speedo at 5 years old haha!
Our second celebration of the weekend was our two year anniversary! We celebrated on Saturday night at Old Anglers Inn in Potomac and it was delicious. It was a fun night with Jeff reminiscing about all that we have accomplished in two years and just being silly. The restaurant brought us each a glass of champagne to celebrate. It was obvious that I don't get out to nice places as much anymore when I burped out loud after the champagne. It totally forgot where I was! Jeff and I started cracking up! He said that it topped off the perfect night. I am glad I could be a source of entertainment ;) Marriage is full of ups and downs, but I can only hope that our next two years are just as great as the last two.
We finished up the weekend with a visit from Grandpa and Mommom Cher. It was nice for Austin to be able to spend time with them. Good times had by all!
