Well Baby
Ervy and I have
successfully made it to the second trimester. Some of the websites say it starts at 13 weeks and 4 days, but The Bump didn't officially move me to the second trimester board until 14 weeks. So far things have been good and slowly but surely my energy is starting to come back. I honestly don't know if I will ever be totally back to my
pre pregnancy energy level. I definitely think I am starting to pack on the lbs (or
at least it feels that way) so I have started trying to walk outside now that the weather is nice. Hopefully this will help to keep me in shape. We have our 15 week check up next week so I will let you all know how it goes!

Baby Ervy at 14 weeks:
Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb. Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him -- a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb. In other news: Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches -- about the size of a lemon -- and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. ~
