After 5 weeks we got to see Baby
Ervy again! Today we had a NT scan which looks for chromosomal defects in the baby. They start off with genetic counseling and then afterwards they do an ultrasound to look for the nasal bone and measure the fluid along the spine. They finish by doing a finger prick and testing the mother's blood. The doctor said that the ultrasound looked beautiful and thankfully they saw a nasal bone. We will have to wait a week to get the blood work back and we are praying for good news on that test as well. Now for the fun part! Baby
Ervy looked completely different then the 7 week ultrasound.
At 2.5 inches Ervy was bouncing all around and sucking his/her thumb. So sweet! Jeff says
Ervy gave him a fist pump at one moment ;) The heart beats per minute were down a little bit from last week and averaged 163
BPM. We are so grateful that the baby is doing well and we can't wait to see it again at 20 weeks. The official gender "coming out" date is Friday, April 23rd.

Bump Watch- No bump yet, but my pants are getting tight around the stomach. So far the rubber band trick is working well. Next up the Be Band.
Yay for Baby Ervy :)
