Concrete Jungle

First post of 2010! Jeff and I spent the last few days of 2009 in the concrete jungle where dreams are made of. Even though it was freezing you can't beat the city at the holidays. Shopping was at the top of our list of things to do. Jeff doesn't shop much, but when he finally does get out to a store he wants to buy the whole place! It's actually kind of fun to pick out men's clothes so I don't mind. Besides shopping we did a lot of eating and we saw my favorite Broadway show Jersey Boys. I must say I am partial to the name ;) If any of you get a chance to go to the city please see this show. The music is awesome and it's a great story of how Fankie Valli and the Four Seasons came to be.

After a few days in the city we rang in 2010 at Victoria and BJ's new house in Jersey City. They just moved in a few months ago and they have already done a ton of work to make the place their own. The place features a lot of BJ's artwork and Victoria's vintage style. They even have a built in bar on the top level where BJ played bartender all night. We had a great time celebrating with B, V, and 25 of their closest friends.
So now we are 7 days into 2010 and we can't wait to see what this year has to offer ;)
