This past weekend Jeff and I hosted our first parties at our new house. We have been rushing around these past few weeks trying to get most of the big house stuff done and I think we accomplished our goal. We still have to buy stuff for the walls and little decorative pieces, but I would say we are about 75% done which is a relief. On Saturday afternoon Laura and I hosted Courtenay's baby shower and celebrated with about 14 of our girlfriends. There was great food, chatter, and gifts for baby Connor. It's amazing how many gadgets they have for babies. I am glad Courtenay is becoming such and expert on all of this stuff so when Jeff and I have a baby she can show me which things work the best. Two more months of cooking in Court's belly and then we get to meet Mr. Connor Jones

After the shower, the guys and some of Jeff's work friends came over to join us. We grilled out, watched football, and played
beer pong. The weather and company were perfect and we are grateful that both parties were a success.
