A New Chapter

We officially moved to suburbia on Saturday, August 1st and we love it so far! We were up until 1:00am the night before packing all of our last minute stuff and so I was very tired when the movers arrived at 8:00 the next morning. By the way this was my first time using a moving company and I will never move myself again. It was worth every penny! Jeff and Mark enjoyed relaxing as the movers brought all of our stuff in on the red carpet ;) We currently have boxes everywhere, but I was able to get one room semi cleared out so we can atleast relax after work. We still have to get a mirror for above the couch and curtains, but I haven't had time to look for that stuff yet.
One thing we did have time to do was buy a tv for the basement. We were actually at Costco doing some grocery shopping and before we knew it we were leaving with a 58" tv. Let's just say it was Jeff's lucky day. I hope you all will come and watch football games with us this fall. All we need now is a couch to sit on ;)
So our big move was bittersweet, but we are beyond thrilled with our new place. Many of the new neighbors have come to introduce themselves and we are excited to explore our new town. Sarah was right..suburbia is not so bad. I will update pictures are we continue to unpack and decorate. Feel free to stop by and visit anytime!
