Jeff and I have been non stop this summer and this weekend was no different. I decided to take a half day on Friday and go out with Jeff, his clients, and friends on the boat. We went from Pasadena to the Baltimore Harbor and it was a blast! Hillary came with us and she was able to meet some of the fun people at Insight Global. The weather wasn't the best, but that didn't stop us from a fun concert/dance party.
Saturday Jeff and I were quite domestic. Jeff commented that it was the "best day of his life" because he finally got the Craftsman tool chest he has been dreaming about since childhood. He loves building things and fixing cars, so now he has a place to store all of his tools. Hey I am happy as long as all of the tools are organized and not laying around the garage. We also bought a grill which I was very excited about. I don't have a clue how to grill, but it seems easy enough. Jeff seems pretty eager to take charge of the grilling duties. I haven't had a grill since college so this will be quite a treat for us for the remainder of the summer.

Saturday night my company had "Home Team" in DC. Home Team is where the district gets together with their spouses so that everyone can have fun and celebrate a great year. This year we all stayed at the Hotel Monaco downtown and had dinner at the District Chophouse. The hotel is part of the Historic Hotels of America and it has been re-done to be very eclectic and modern. It was great to have a date night on the company. The next morning Jeff and I had a delicious brunch at Poste and then it was back to the house to finish painting the basement. After a long productive day we headed to dinner with some of Jeff's friends from high school. It was a great ending to a great weekend.
PS- Sorry for the blurry photos. My camera had its last hoorah two weeks ago, so I only have my cell camera until I get a new camera.
