15 Months

Landon

Landon is 15 months going on 3 years old.  Nowadays he wants to do everything his big brother is doing.  Here are a few things he is up to:

• Busy body!  Running everywhere and climbing everything.  Stands on chairs, the couch and the  ottoman.
• A big vocabulary for a little boy.  I have lost count of how many words he has these days.   He can repeat most simple words if I ask him to.  Ex. Jacket, Vitamin (min), Cookie, Cracker (Cacker), Car, Dragon (Agon), Calliou, Austin, Please (Peas), Agua, All Done (Aw Done), Turtle, Flower (Fower).  Still uses grunting and pointing at times.  
• Loves to dance and shake his hips.  Favorite songs are Itsy Bitsy Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat, and Wheels On The Bus.  I sing these to Landon every night before bed.
• Food!  There isn't much food that he doesn't like.  He eats pretty much everything that we eat.  We did find one thing that he doesn't like…brussel sprouts.  I get it.
• He can point to most of his body parts.  His favorite is his tongue.  
• Loves books.  We have quite a collection of books in his room now.  Every time we are in there he wants to read a few of them.  His favorites are Brown Bear, Very Hungry Caterpillar, Cars, The Zoo, and Spot.
• Toys!  Landon rarely sits still so he plays with just about every toy we have every day.  He moves from one to another.  His favorites are his cars and trucks, trains, legos, and the play kitchen.  So ready for the warm weather so we can play outside more.
• Landon loves his paci for sleeping.  We also now give him a blanket which he snuggles at night. He is officially off the bottle much to his dismay.  He will drink milk from his cup, but not very much.  Work in progress. 
• 1 nap a day 2-3 hours.  Goes to bed at night around 7:30pm and wakes at 7-7:15am.

I love watching this kid grow into a little toddler.  He has such a personality now.  I can see glimpses  of "toddler behavior", but for the most part he is full of love and fun.
