Landon 9/10 Months

This summer is just flying by and mommy isn't doing a good job of keeping up with the blog.  Since Landon just turned 10 months this past weekend I figure I will do a combination post.  This summer has been filled with vacations and playing.  We started with a vacation to the Jersey Shore with the Ervick side of the family and finished with a trip to Ocean City, MD with my side of the family.  It was great for the boys to be able to spend time with their extended family.  Landon loved the ocean, sand, and the pool.  He has no fear which is awesome and frightening at the same time.  I guess he gets that from his daddy, because I tend to be on the more cautious side (cue Austin).  Landon was having such an awesome time that he didn't want to sleep much on vacation.  We watched a few sunrises on the beach and also had a few late night parties.  Landon was a trooper though and was such a happy guy throughout the trips.  All of the new memories and experiences definitely made the sleepless nights worth it.

After the vacations were over it was back to our normal schedules.  We spend most of our days taking Austin to summer camp/preschool, running errands, and playing outside.  Austin and Landon are really able to play together now which is awesome.  The love to play cars, read books, play with animals, and chase each other.  Unfortunately Landon likes to destroy Austin's train tracks and puzzles, but isn't that what little brothers are for?

More on what Landon is up to:

Sleeping 7pm-6:30am.  2 naps a day
3 meals a day.  2 snacks.  LOVES food.  More and more finger foods.
5 bottles of formula
Smiles and laughs a ton.  Very happy.
Loves other children.  No stranger anxiety.
Into EVERYTHING!  Opening cabinets, unrolling toilet paper, fishing in the toilet, eating cat food.
Crawling very fast.  Interested in going up the stairs.  Cruising.
Can stand on his own for a few seconds.  (10 months)

Loves taking baths, especially with Austin.
New words are Mama and Nah Nah. (10 Months)

24lbs 10 oz (90%) exact same as Austin

The doctor said that he is definitely a second child and trying to keep up with his brother.  Slow down baby.  Mama isn't ready for you to grow up yet.
