We Are Home

Severna Park, MD
Well we survived the move and we are officially Maryland residents now.  They finished building the house with no time to spare.  After Christmas we worked around the clock to organize our stuff for the packers and movers and we moved in January 4th.  I have to say I am glad to be here and not stressing over the move anymore. Now we can just take our time unpacking and making our new house our own.  So far we love the neighborhood and the house.  Everyone has been very nice and we were even able to enjoy the community beach since the weather has been nice.  Our good friends the Shinaberry's and our new friends the Butler's live behind us so it has been great for Austin to have little buddies to play with.   Also Austin's cousin Jax lives about 5 minutes from us now so we plan on doing many play dates.  Austin started his new preschool today at the church up the street.  The drop off was not pretty, but he was happy as a clam when I picked him up.  I am sure he will like it even more with time.  The class is mostly girls so maybe they will tame my wild boy.  Austin has done remarkably well with all of the new change these past few weeks.  I can tell he thinks about it a lot, but we are trying to make it easy on him.  My sweet baby Landon has just been along for the ride.  He is still in the easy stage where he adapts pretty well to most situations.  He is so happy and easy going.  Speaking of "little Landon" he is not so little and weighing in at 18lbs at 3 months old.  I sure do make chubby babies.  His sleeping has improved drastically since my 2 month post, but I know the 4 month wakeful period is right around the corner so I am holding my breathe.  Jeff started his new job Monday and he is going to be very busy these next few months.  This means a lot of late nights at work for dada and long days for mama at home.  It will be an adjustment going back to being a full time stay at home mom, but I am looking forward to the time with my babies.  I have to admit I am exhausted, but I know we are creating memories that I will look back on and cherish.  Hopefully we find our new routine quickly so we can have lots of fun exploring our new town.
Off to his first day of preschool in MD

Exploring our community beach.  It's only a 5 minute walk so I hope to spend
a lot of time here this summer.
