2 months

These past two months have been crazy.  I have to admit that two kids has been more of an adjustment then I thought it would be.  There is always someone that needs mommy or daddy so it has been hard to be needed at all times and never really get a break.  With that being said, I feel like I am getting better at my job as a mommy of two every day.  I am no longer afraid to leave the house with two kids and I have accepted the fact that there will likely be crying from one of the boys, usually Landon.  Landon is not a fan of his carseat so I try to take him out and wear him when possible.  It's amazing how similar Landon is to Austin when he was 2 months.  They are both HUGE, have big kissable cheeks, eat a ton, hate the swing, hate when the car is not moving, love the outside, love bath time, and love to be held.   So many people tell me how similar they look to one another.  The bigger Landon gets the more I see it too.  One big difference between the two is Landon's sleeping habits.  From day one it has been a challenge and one that we are still trying to figure out.  Most nights he goes down between 7-8pm and will only make it about 1.5-3 hours between feedings so we are not getting much sleep.  I have tried everything to get longer stretches, but nothing has worked so far so I guess I just need to accept it and wait until he is ready.  We moved Landon to his crib at 8 weeks and so far I think he likes it.  It is always sad for me to move my babies to their own bed, but I know I sleep better in the long run.  Luckily I still get plenty of cuddle time during the day during naps.  We are starting to try crib naps and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.  I will take what I can get.  They usually last about 45 minutes so I just rush around during the time I get and try to get stuff done.  Landon is becoming so much more aware lately and loves to look around the room.  My little Curious George.  He recently found his hands and loves to suck on his fists for comfort.  Landon has also started talking and cooing and it's the sweetest thing.  Even after a long night of little sleep, his sweet voice and smiles melt my heart.
