Austin loves airplanes. If we are outside and he hears one flying over he instantly tries to find it in the sky. If we are inside he likes to take his toy planes and fly them above his head while making an airplane sound. I recently discovered that our new house is literally 5 minutes from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and it's FREE! One cold Saturday morning a few weeks ago we decided to take a family trip to check it out and it was awesome! It was very open with a ton of life size planes on the floor and hanging from the ceiling. Austin was amazed and was running everywhere. He didn't stop the whole time. He just kept pointing at all of the planes. The last thing we did before lunch was a flight simulation. I was a little worried that Austin was too young, but he handled it like a champ. We climbed in the plane and it shook us all over the place and he loved it. After lunch we headed home, but I am sure we will be back soon.
