Finger Paint Fail

Now that Austin is getting a little bit older, I have been trying to find more creative activities for him.  On a rainy and cold day recently we decided to try out finger painting.  I covered his high chair in trash bags in anticipation of the mess that was to come.  I stripped down his clothes and away he went.  The only problem was that he wanted to taste the finger paint.  Maybe he was confused because he was sitting in his high chair or maybe my son just wants to eat everything in sight, but this was a big fail.  The paint was in his hair and teeth and he was not amused.  While I did get a piece of artwork, this activity only lasted about 20 minutes.  Maybe we will try again in a few months.  These pictures make me laugh.
