The Deck is Complete

The deck is complete and ready for entertaining! This fall weather has been beautiful so we took the opportunity this past weekend to use our new grill and patio furniture. On Saturday night we had Cam and Sarah over to see the new place and celebrate Cam's 29th birthday. I am not a chef by any means, but I slaved away in the kitchen for about 3 hours on Saturday afternoon and made a great outdoor feast. BBQ ribs, chicken, pasta salad, potatoes, and cupcakes were on the menu. Oh and of course beer and wine!

On Sunday Mom and Mark came over to visit and we cooked out again and watched some football. Mom helped on the grill, while the men began building VT and NCSU corn hole sets in the garage. Hopefully I will be able to post a picture of the finished product soon. We have made a lot of progress on the house and I think we are finally done buying furniture. Our bedroom furniture is on back order, but that should be here by October. Now we just have to buy pictures and decorations and it should be complete! This was our first weekend we were actually home and able to enjoy our new house and we loved it!
