Lucky me I started my new job just in time to go to the National Sales Meeting in Las Vegas. Unfortunately I wasn't so lucky in the casino. Wheel of Fortune slots got the best of me, but besides that I had a blast! We stayed in the Venetian which was beautiful. I didn't get a chance to ride a gondola in the lobby, but maybe next year. I was able to see the Love Cirque Du Soleil Show at the Mirage and it was fantastic. I highly recommend the show even if you are not the biggest Beatles fan. On the last night the company threw a huge party at the Green Valley ranch for all 6000 employees. The seafood was delicious, the band kept everyone dancing, and the views of the strip were awesome.
Overall the week was long, but it was a great chance to mingle with my new coworkers. The new job has been a lot of work and travel, but I am so grateful to have this opportunity.
